Build your application on a full ESP32-S3 using Arduino or ESP-IDF, with no proprietary runtime required for your code.
Your application runs on an ESP32-S3 you fully control. A separate OTA Manager handles cellular communication, firmware updates and live serial access, helping you diagnose and recover a field unit without visiting the site.
Pricing and availability are subject to final launch confirmation. SIM options are available on request.

ESP32-S3 + cellular + an independent second brain
Two independent processors keep application logic separate from cellular communication, remote diagnostics and firmware updates.
Runs the firmware and control logic you develop using Arduino or ESP-IDF. Connects to the display, Ethernet, RS-485 and expansion I/O. Includes 16 MB flash and 2 MB PSRAM.
The independent OTA Manager is designed to keep remote diagnostics and firmware updates available even when the application stops responding, provided power and cellular connectivity remain available.
Four practical reasons to choose XN for industrial devices deployed outside the development lab.
Build your application on a full ESP32-S3 using Arduino or ESP-IDF, with no proprietary runtime required for your code.
The independent OTA Manager handles firmware delivery and device access alongside the main application.
Read live serial output from a deployed unit and push an updated build without plugging in a USB cable on site.
Keep AT commands, modem state handling and cellular session management out of your application firmware.
The essentials engineers need to evaluate NORVI XN for an OEM design, industrial controller or remote monitoring installation.
Designed with reference to EN 61131-2, EN 61010-1, EN IEC 61010-2-201 and the EMC Directive. CE testing is in progress. Final certification documents will be published after completion.
Cellular connectivity runs through the OTA Manager. Supported module options are listed below. Regional compatibility and SIM options should be confirmed before ordering.
XN uses the existing NORVI X plug-in module family. Add the input and output channels your project needs, without changing the controller architecture.
Industrial discrete sensors, contact states and pulse inputs.
Explore X-DI4Relay and transistor outputs for control and actuation.
View NORVI X range4–20 mA and 0–10 V modules for process measurement.
Explore X-AI4RTD, thermocouple and current-transformer options.
Browse module docsFrom writing the first firmware build to supporting devices already installed in the field, NORVI Neural is designed to bring those workflows together.
Program, flash and debug NORVI XN from a browser-based workspace. Combined with the OTA Manager, the workflow supports cloud compile, one-click deployment and live diagnostics for field devices.

Write, build and flash ESP32 firmware from the browser without setting up a local toolchain.
Manage firmware rollouts to deployed units with verification, retries and recovery workflows.
See live serial output from a deployed unit and troubleshoot from your workstation.
Publish application values as telemetry and connect to dashboards including Datacake.
Industrial projects where firmware recovery and remote diagnostics make a measurable difference to site maintenance.
Collect levels, alarms and operating states over cellular. Update controller logic without scheduling a trip to the pumping station.
Connect Modbus RTU / TCP equipment to monitoring workflows. Diagnose unexpected field behavior using remote serial access.
Combine current-transformer and pulse-counting expansion modules to collect metering data and send useful telemetry.

Answers to the most useful early product questions.
Ask NORVI a technical questionYes. The application processor is a standard ESP32-S3 and supports Arduino and ESP-IDF development. NORVI Neural is an optional companion workflow.
The independent OTA Manager is designed to preserve remote serial access and support firmware recovery independently of the main application, as long as the device remains powered and connected.
Cellular hardware options include Quectel EC25 and SIMCom A7672. The appropriate module depends on the deployment region. SIM options should be confirmed when registering interest.
Yes, NORVI XN uses the NORVI X expansion module family. Check module addressing and direct GPIO compatibility before choosing a configuration.
Yes. Select “Evaluation unit” or “Pilot quantity” in the interest form and share your project requirements so the NORVI team can discuss the next steps.
Shipment availability has not been announced here. Register your interest or contact NORVI to confirm current timelines.
